Rules are subject to change without announcement.[/color][/b] [color=#1abc9c][b]Server Rules[/b][/color] - Do not RDM. - Do not VDM (randomly vehicle kill). - Be respectful to staff members and players alike. - Do not metagame. - Follow RP at all times. - FearRP is not allowed. - Follow all timers for raids, mugs, etc. - Follow all rules of the job you are. - Do not hack/exploit. - Do not exploit bugs/glitches, report them to staff or on the forums. - Do not be racist. - You may not RP at all in spawn. - Only place props in your base. - A staff's word always goes. - You may not return to the place you died for 2 minutes. - When you die, you forget the person who killed you and anything that might be able to lead you to killing them. - Do not become a job and not complete the tasks of it or intend to RP in the way the job is intended to be. - You may not park in spaces that say "do not park", this isn't a RP rule, this is a server rule. - 'I didn't know' / 'I didn't read the rules' is not an excuse to get out of any punishment. - You may not mug someone who is in or just got out of the ATM. - You may not carjack in the dealers.  - You may not park in the dealerships. - Spawns ARE roleplay zones if the person is part of RP, you may not RP in anyway with people AFK at spawn or joining. [color=#9b59b6][b]FailRP[/b][/color] FailRP is when someone does something that would not happen in the real world. Example: [i]Player #1: [/i]Advert's raid.  [i]Player #2:[/i] Leaves game/removes props/switches jobs to avoid being raided. Player #2 broke FailRP since if someone was raiding you there would be no way to remove everything in an instant. Proper RP: [i]Player #1: [/i]Advert's raid. [i]Player #2:[/i] Attempts to counter. (or any other rp measure taken in the situation) [b][color=#f39c12]FearRP[/color][/b] FearRP is when someone does something that would not happen due to the fear of losing one's life.  Example: [i]Player #1: [/i]Advert's mug and requests that Player #2 drops 10k with a gun pointed towards them. [i]Player #2:[/i] Pulls out a gun and kills them. This is FearRP because Player #2 would be scared for their life. Player #1 would see that Player #2 is reaching for a gun and would kill you. Proper RP: [i]Player #1:[/i] Advert's mug and requests that Player #2 drops 10k with a gun pointed towards them. [i]Player #2: [/i]Drops 10k. (or other RP situations such as not being able to afford it, negotiating, etc.) [b][color=#f1c40f]Timers[/color][/b] Raid Timer - 10 minutes Raid Length - 5 minutes Mug Timer - 5 minutes Mug Max - $2k Kidnap Timer - 5 minutes Riot Timer - 15 minutes Riot Length - None, but the riot ends when the Mafia Don dies Carjack Timer - 5 minutes Terror Timer - 20 minutes NLR - 2 minutes [color=#9b59b6][b]Raiding Rules[/b][/color] [i]These also apply to bank robberies.[/i] [i]You do not need to /ad bank robberies.[/i] - You must /ad raid.  - You may only raid every 10 minutes. - Raids may only last 5 minutes. - You may not raid the hospital. - You may destroy anything in the base.  - You may kill anyone in the base, but nobody outside the base unless they are shooting at you. - When the raid ends, you must /ad raid over. [b]Base Rules[/b] - No one-way props are allowed. - No crouch or maze bases are allowed. - You may have up to 3 fading doors and 6 keypads. - You may only have one base. - Keypads have to be set to 6+ seconds. - There must be visible keypads on both sides of a fading door.  - You may block any door as long as there is at least one way to get into that room.  - You may not use the keybind to open your door, you must use the keypad.  [color=#f39c12][b]Riot Rules[/b][/color] - Only the Mafia Don may start riots. - Riots can take place anywhere. - The Don must /ad riot prior to starting the riot. - All who are taking place in the riot must /ad riot assist.  - The riot ends when the Don dies, then the Don must /ad riot over. - During a riot, you may kill any government official (apart from paramedics). - The Don is the ruler of the riot, if he says something such as 'stop' or 'halt', do what he says. [b][color=#2ecc71]Government Rules[/color][/b] - The government cannot be corrupt.  - All government officials must listen to their higher up (government officials --> chief --> mayor). - You may not warrant someone unless you physically see they did something wrong. - Guns out in public are AOS, but shooting them is KOS (for citizens). - You must give reasonable jail/bail time/amount. - You may not let anyone out of jail. Always make sure the cells are locked.  - You may AOS people in places that are clearly marked, and KOS people in places that are marked. Do not switch up the two. - You may not camp the bank, dealers, spawns, etc.  - Terrorists are KOS always.  - You may not arrest bank guards, paramedics, or warden's guards.  - You may not own printers. [b][color=#3498db]Job Rules[/color][/b] [u]Hotel Manager[/u] - You may only run the hotel that you spawn in front of. - You must own all the rooms in the hotel.  - You may have security, but you cannot own a gun.  - You must add someone to a door if they check-in. - You can decide how/when to charge guests.  - You may not check guest's rooms without their permission. - You may edit rooms prior to guest's arrival. - You may set your own rules for use of the hotel. [u]Mechanic[/u] - You may only set-up shop at the garage you spawn in.  - You may charge as much as you want to fix a car. - You may drive around to fix people's vehicles.  - You are not required to stay in the garage, you can still base other places but you can't use it as a shop. [u]Thief / Pro-thief[/u] - You may only raid/mug.  - You must /ad raid/mug. - You may rob the bank. - You may hack ATMs using the ATM hacker from the thief NPC. - You may base and own printers in it. [u]Terrorist[/u] - You may only commit terrorism. - You must /ad terror. - During a terrorist attack, you may kill anyone you see.  - You may use a car, a gun, or a bomb during your terrorist attack. - You are ALWAYS KOS, even if you aren't doing an attack.  - Your terror attack ends when you die for any reason (bomb, counter, etc.). [u]Prostitute[/u] - You may only use the rape SWEP on people that [i]agree[/i] to having sex. - You may charge people for having sex. - You may not have sex in public, if caught, you can be arrested.  [u]Security[/u] - You can be employed or self-employed. - You are not part of the police force. You may not act like you are. - If employed, you must listen to your employer. You may not double-cross them or do anything to harm them. [u]Pickpocket[/u] - You may only pickpocket. - You do not need to /ad pickpocket. - You may not pickpocket anyone in spawn. - You may have a base. [u]Hitman[/u] - Your job is to complete hits from others, you may not complete your own (that is considered RDM).  - You may only raid to complete a hit.  - You must /ad hit accepted and /ad hit complete.  [u]Cook[/u] - You may cook anywhere. - You may sell anywhere.  - You may have a base, but that base must also be your shop.  [u]Taxi Driver[/u] - You must only drive the taxi.  - You may charge any amount for a taxi ride. - Players aren't allowed to scam you, they must pay. - You may not take people to places other then their requested destination. [u]Bus Driver[/u] - You may only drive the bus. - You may not charge people to ride the bus, you are paid in your salary. - You should go to designated bus stops, but you can also go to specially requested stops if someone asks for them. [u]Police Tier 1, 2, & 3[/u] - You may not be corrupt. - You may only arrest people if they have illegal items (printers, guns, etc.). - You must listen to higher ups (chief, mayor). [u]Secret Service[/u] - You must remain with the mayor at all times. - You may not be corrupt. - You may kill anyone who attempts to kill the mayor. - You must drive the mayor around, he should not be driving. [u]Paramedic[/u] - You job is to heal the city. - You are not biased towards the police or the citizens, you just heal. - You are only allowed to drive the ambulance.  [u]SWAT[/u] - You may only go to a situation you are called to. - You should be in front of movements, you're the heavy forces.  - You should not be driving criminals to the police department, your van is to get through tough crowds.  [u]Police Chief[/u] - You're head of all the government officials (apart from paramedic). - Officials must do what you ask them to, if they don't, it's FailRP. [u]FBI[/u] - You're undercover always acting like a citizen. - You're a detective for the chief and mayor. - You may not own a base, but you can base with others to spy on them. - You may not kill/arrest anyone without calling back-up. [u]Mayor[/u] - You may only initiate a lockdown during a terrorist attack or riot.  - During a lockdown, all citizens must go indoors. All who refuse are AOS. - Your word goes, everyone must listen and enforce what you say. - Do not place lawboards in non-appropriate places. - You may only add serious rules. - You may not be corrupt in anyway. - Basic laws may not be removed.
